About Us

Our mission is to make skin cancer screening accessible and reassuring through timely assessments, clinical expertise, and thoughtful use of technology. We use OptimaScan to track moles over time to improve accuracy.

Rebecca Jesso

Nurse Practioner

Rebecca Jesso is a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience and nearly four decades in healthcare. She has worked extensively in Emergency Medicine at WRHN–Queens and in the Intensive Care Unit at WRHN–Midtown, bringing a strong clinical background to her current practice.

Rebecca has since focused her work in medical aesthetics and skin care, with a growing emphasis on the assessment of new and changing moles. Recognizing the importance of early detection in skin cancer, she has pursued additional training in dermoscopy to better identify suspicious lesions and assess skin cancer risk.

She is part of the Mark My Mole team, providing patients with timely access to professional skin assessments, with a focus on accuracy, reassurance, and peace of mind.

Driven by passion

Mark My Mole is a skin cancer screening clinic created to provide timely, thorough assessment in a setting designed to reduce uncertainty and delay.

The clinic was founded by a physician who has personally experienced skin cancer and understands the stress that can come with waiting for assessment and follow-up. That experience highlighted the need for a service focused on prompt access, careful evaluation, and greater confidence that concerning changes are not missed.

At Mark My Mole, skin assessments are performed using dermoscopy and advanced imaging technology to support accurate evaluation and longitudinal tracking of lesions over time. When clinically indicated, biopsies are performed on-site, and referrals to specialists are arranged directly to support continuity of care.

Our goal is to make skin cancer screening straightforward, accessible, and reassuring — so patients leave with clear answers and confidence in their next steps.

With your consent, we are happy to keep your family physician informed of your assessment and any follow-up care.
